In preparation of the April 21 release date for her debut album, The New Classic, Australian MC Iggy Azalea has been making the press rounds. Early this morning, Azalea dropped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club to chop it up with DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God. During the 20-minute interview, Azalea touched on everything from finally getting a release date from Def Jam to the false rumors surrounding her robust figure.
While deflecting Charlamagne’s usual jabs, Azalea revealed that she is both nervous and excited for her album to drop, what she deems a success in regards to sales, her massive overseas appeal, and her relationship with Los Angeles Lakers guard Nick Young.—Peter Walsh
