Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent Are Still Friends
In the eyes of most observers boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. and 50 Cent have had a fair amount of friction during their friendship. But comments in a recent interview from Mayweather suggest that’s all water under the bridge.
"Just as a man, I respect him, I love him," Mayweather said. "There's a lot of my friends, a lot of my associates, that I don't speak to on a daily basis. That doesn't mean that I wish anything bad toward them."
The champ, who is prepping for a May 3 bout even extended an open invitation to the Queens MC.
"50 Cent's a great guy, he's always invited into my gym. If his fighters want to come to my gym and work, they can come work in my gym also," he said.—G. Valentino Ball
