Third Person Dies From Drunk Driving Incident At SXSW
A victim from last Wednesday (March 13) drunk driving incident has died, as The Austin American Statesman reports. The victim name is Sandy Le. She was among the 22 people injured in the crash. It was initially reported that 23 people were injured but has since then been corrected. The death total from the horrific incident is now three. Seven people remain in the hospital. Six patients are at University Medical Center Brackenridge while one patient is at St. David’s Medical Center.
The car driver, Rashad Owens, a rapper/producer who was schedule to perform that night was charged with one count of capital murder.
