Pharrell’s Grammy Hat Sells For $44,100 On eBay


Pharrell’s famous Grammy hat has been sold to a dedicated eBay bidder for $44,100. As recently reported, the Vivienne Westwood-designed Mountain hat Skateboard P rocked at this year’s Grammy Awards was placed on eBay by the super producer in February. The “Happy” artist used the auction as a means to raise money for his From One Hand To Another, organization. “I’m giving up the Buffalo Hat I wore to the GRAMMYs to help underserved kids get the educational tools they need,” Pharrell said in a statement. “Our organization, From One Hand to Another, is committed to bringing kids experiences that ignite their passions, challenge their minds and prepare them for success.”

The bidding quickly rose to $10,000. It eventually peaked at over 40 grand after 131 offers before ending today at 8 p.m. EST. P recently took to his Twitter account to congratulate the winner of the bid. “Thank you to whoever bought my Grammy hat on @eBay for $44,100. Your donation benefits From One Hand To AnOTHER,” he posted.
