Papoose On Jay Z: “He’s Not Better Than Me”

Despite his lack of mainstream acclaim, Papoose has always been known as one of the most self-assertive rappers in the game. In recent interview with New York Daily News, the Brooklyn rapper's cockiness again bubbled over when he proclaimed himself crown holder of the Big Apple and superior in skill to Jay Z. “Nobody is better than me — Jay-Z, nobody,” said Pap. “None are more lyrically inclined than me. None of them. I’m definitely the king of New York. I am the greatest out of New York.”

“When I look in the mirror, I don’t see Jay Z — I see Papoose,” he added. “More power to him, but he’s not better than me.”

Does Pap have a point here?
