KiD CuDi is in a different space than he was a few years ago. Now, sober, with a new album and movie out which are both getting positive reviews, the former G.O.O.D. Music MC is visibly maturing. CuDi recently appeared on the Arsenio Hall Show, and, among other things, expressed his feelings for the current state of rap music saying there are some things he wants to see end in the genre. "I think the braggadocio, money, cash, hoes, thing needs to be deaded," said Cudi. "I feel like that's holding us back as a culture, as black people. It doesn't advance us in any way, shape or form." He added, "We been doing that same theme, its been like what, four decades of the same old bullsh#t. I feel like, if you are going to be an artist there comes a time when you have to embrace the responsibility and realize that the power of music is something so special and to be able to do it on this magnitude where you reach millions of people, its like, why not use that for good?"
