GZA Bridges Hip-Hop And Science In TED Talk

Wu-Tang Clan’s GZA gave a TEDx Teen talk about science and using hip-hop as an art form to teach. The talk is called “The Genius of Science.” GZA is a co-founder of SCIENCE GENIUS with Christopher Emdin of Teachers College. The nonprofit seeks to engage high school students with science using hip hop. GZA has given lectures at some prestigious universities before such as Harvard, Oxford, USC, MIT, NYU, Cornell, and JPL/NASA.

It’s no wonder Mayor Elect of New York City, Bill DiBlasio, named GZA is his favorite Wu-Tang Clan member. Watch the TED talk below.
