The Frank Ocean, Chipotle beef continues. It was reported last week Chipotle sued Ocean, saying they paid him an advance of $212,500 in July 2013 to record a song called "Pure Imagination" for a marketing campaign named the Scarecrow. But, Ocean didn't record the song and backed out due to the fact of he didn't want Chipotle's logo to appear at the end of the film. Ocean then used his tumblr to respond to the lawsuit, first posting a link to the Wikipedia page for “defamation” then a picture of a check for that $212,500  with “FUCK OFF” added to the memo.

However, a representative reached out to The Hollywood Reporter saying, "We’ve seen the photo, but haven’t received a check." XXL has reached out to Ocean's rep for comment.
