SXSW took things to a whole other level yesterday (March 14), with massive sets from Wiz Khalifa, Future, Nas, A$AP Mob, B.o.B and a whole hell of a lot more. Luckily, after three days of the madness, XXL is still holding you down. Here are our five favorite moments from Friday's lineup. Enjoy.

Future

With his new album set to drop in a little over a month—April 22, which he wouldn't let you forget—Future debuted new songs, including the intro to Honest, at Spin's Day Party at Stubb's yesterday afternoon. And shit, was it outstanding. He performed his remix of "Drunk In Love"—for the first and last time, he said—and brought out guests Bun B, B.o.B and Metro Boomin to help him tear things down. And, oh yeah, he also ran through a ridiculous collection of hits like "Bugatti," "Tapout," "No Games," "Honest," "UOENO," "Shit" and "Same Damn Time." B.o.B returned the favor later that night, bringing Future out during his show at the Mass Appeal showcase to run through "Same Damn Time" all over again.

Young Thug

There's not too many people hotter than Thugga right now, and Birdman's latest protege—he's not signed, he's just been "Adopted" by Cash Money—had one of the most anticipated sets of the day at the Fader Fort. Outside the venue was a madhouse, with lines that extended multiple blocks, as everyone tried to get a piece of Thug. And then, just as quickly as he appeared, he was gone; he played "Danny Glover" and "Stoner" before bouncing from the stage. Some were saying that he didn't have anything else to play, but those people must never have heard the infectious, catchy 1017 Thug. Wanted more, but took what we got.

Wiz Khalifa and Taylor Gang

Speaking of the Fader Fort, Thugga's set before Taylor Gang was scheduled to hit the stage. The crew that includes Ty Dolla $ign, Chevy Woods and a host of others hadn't been joined by TG leader Wiz in a couple previous shows, but he was out front and center leading the team yesterday through tracks like "Work Hard Play Hard" and "We Dem Boyz." Trinidad Jame$ showed up, Lola Monroe was there, and the crowd was turned all the way up. Wiz has hits for days, but the crowd lost its collective mind when Dolla $ign stepped to the front for "Paranoid." They weren't slippin'.

A$AP Mob

The Mob has a strange history with SXSW dating back to the violence that marred their appearance two years ago, but they tore things down at the Mass Appeal showcase last night. Rocky was there and supporting, but Ferg was the one who led the show, with "Work" an obvious standout. Ant, Twelvy and Nast were all out rockin' as well, as the typical Mob scene completely took over the stage. Haven't seen a crowd pop like they did for "Shabba Ranks" in a long, long time.

Nas

You knew it had to finish with Queens' finest, right? It was a quick set from the nasty one, but the man bleeds bangers and the crowd had waited all night for tracks like "New York State Of Mind." He brought out Bishop Nehru and Boldy James to rock solo tracks toward the beginning of the show—the two had both performed their own sets earlier in the night, too—and, as always, "If I Ruled The World" was a show-stopper. Jay Electronica was walking around backstage, too, hours after he dropped his first solo track in what feels like a goddamn decade at this point. Nas The Don.
