Lil Boosie Reportedly Not Coming Home Next Week

Family, friends and fans of incarcerated rapper Lil Boosie had intel and high hopes that the rapper would be released on February 13, but it looks like Bad Azz may have to stay imprisoned a little while longer, now possibly until March. LA Weekly's Jeff Weiss, one of the only reporters who've had access to the rapper during his prison stint, recently reported the news via his Twitter account saying, “received confirmation that Boosie will not be getting out of jail next week. However, his release is imminent — most likely in March," he typed. "A parole board hearing was scheduled for Boosie next week but was canceled, because it didn’t make sense considering his release is so soon,” he added.

Last week, reports surfaced saying Boosie, born, Torrence Hatch, would leave Louisiana State Penitentiary on February 13. The Baton Rouge rapper has been imprisoned since 2009 after pleading guilty to drug charges and violating his probation.
