Rolling Stone paid Future a visit while he was recording his highly anticipated second LP, Honest. When sharing his "Move That Dope" track, Future explained, "When I heard the beat, I was like, 'Man, this shit sounds like something in the '80s,'" adding, "that's when I started doing push it-ahh-push it. . . . We got to relive the '80s."

The retro beat comes courtesy of Mike WiLL Made It, who had boast about getting his hands on such a hard-knocking instrumental.

"I got this hard-ass beat, I got this hard-ass beat,'" swaggered Mike. "That [beat] is vintage at its finest. That's that retro shit. That's all that B-boy shit. That's BK, British Knights. This is Levi's – dirty shoes – this is that music."

The bass-heavy ode to slangin' white powder features Pusha T and Pharrell Williams.
