Childish Gambino's "3005" is arguably the rapper/actor's biggest hit from his latest album, Because The Internet. Last night, Donald Glover sat down Zane Lowe and explained to the personality that Hit-Boy heard him sing that hook in the studio and originally offered him Drake's "Trophies" beat for the song.

However, Gambino felt like the horn-heavy banger didn't fit his smooth melody, and therefore decided to turn down the beat. In his own words, "That hook was actually supposed to be on Drake's "Trophies" beat. I was like, 'I don't know if it feels right' and then he [Hit Boy] gave it to Drake and Drake made it awesome."

Childish concluded his statement with, "Everybody's a winner in that one...we made a different song."
