YG Was Upset About Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Snub

Revolt TV caught up YG and asked him about Kendrick Lamar’s widely debated GRAMMY slight. To little surprise, the Compton rapper and West Coast comrade of K. Dot’s expressed his frustration with the end results of The Academy’s deliberation.

“I didn’t watch it, I heard my n*gga Kendrick didn’t win sh*t,” says YG in the video above, “that’s f*cked up, he deserved it.”

Others in  the music community, including Macklemore (who won Best Rap Album), share YG’s exact sentiments when it comes to the TDE rapper’s  impeccable Good Kid, m.A.A.d city LP.

Grammys never are about true skill. So many good albums didn’t even get nominated because they didn’t sell enough for the Grammy’s standards. Fucking bullshit every year.

Grammy’s have always been nothing in the hip-hop community. BET awards is more prestigious than that shit.
