Ty Dolla $ign brings the heat to the East Coast. Just two days after his Beach House EP dropped via Atlantic Records, the king of ratchet R&B performed his first show at SOBs. As the headliner for Hot 97’s Who’s Next concert, the Los Angeles native was supported by D.C.’s own Black Cobain. The Come Up alum performed tracks like “Closer” and “Turn Up” that were backed by a live band. Peter Rosenberg and Shauni Kulture elevated the crowd’s energy with a few hilarious moments from their banter, which was the perfect introduction to Ty Dolla $ign. The crooner got into his major hits such as “My Cabana,” “Toot It And Boot It” and finished off the night with “Paranoid.”
