T-Pain Thinks His Debut Album Was Ahead Of Its Time

T-Pain sat down with BET and touched base on numerous interesting topics. First, the auto-tune ambassador explained the reasoning behind his hiatus from the game , before revealing he’s reached out to B.o.B, 2 Chainz, and Andre 3000 to hop on the remix for “Up Down.” Next, the hook master cleared up the rumors revolved around his relationship with both Jay Z and Roc Nation. Last but not least, T-Pain went on to say his debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga was ahead of its time and was also overlooked by music critics. He furthered his argument by claiming Kanye West’s 808s & Heartbreaks was widely influenced by his premiere project, yet the latter was celebrated as a classic in hip-hop culture.
