Rich Homie Quan Celebrates Rose Bowl Win with MSU

Rich Homie Quan’s “Some Type of Way” was undoubtedly one of the year’s top tracks, as the catchy hit single dominated both the radio and club scene for the latter part of 2013.

The energetic, hard-knocking banger was famously adopted as Michigan State University’s team anthem, fueling the football team with adrenaline on the gridiron, inspiring the student athletes game-after-game on their journey to the Rose Bowl.

As promised, Rich Homie Quan showed his appreciation to the squad by supporting the Spartans at their season finale championship game against Stanford, serving as extra motivation to the school en route to their 24-20 victory. After the game, the Atlanta-based rapper joined the team to celebrate both on the field and in their locker room.

Also, the coaching staff acknowledged the rapper during their post-game interviews, shouting him out for his infectious single's contributions in regards to building team chemistry and acting as the soundtrack to MSU's successful season.
