It was first hinted at when Ray Allen posed in a Miami Heat jersey with the nickname J. Shuttlesworth on the back. The alias, of course, is the character Allen played in He Got Game, the 1998 Spike Lee joint. Was this an implication of an impending sequel?

The Miami Heat shooting guard indeed has talked with ESPN about having fleshed out ideas with Spike Lee in discussions about a sequel to the film.

"Sequels to most movies are always fluff and not as good as the first. But it's something we've been talking about for the last couple months. If we get a really good story line and are able to bring everybody back, then it would be something worth doing."

Allen will be seen wearing the name of his character on Jan. 21, during the NBA "nickname" game against the Celtics.
