OutKast’s rumored reunion was confirmed last week when the lineup for Coachella—which features the ATLiens headlining the first night of the festival—was announced, and today the Grammy-winning duo announced that their reunion run would include a 40-plus-date festival tour throughout the Spring and Summer.

André 3000 and Big Boi are celebrating their 20th anniversary in the game since releasing Southernplayalisticadillacmuzik in 1994. After the official reunion April 11, they’ll be hitting festivals not only in the States, but around the world as well.

“It’s truly an honor to celebrate 20 years and still be free to do music the way we choose,” Big Boi said in a statement posted on OutKast’s website and to their Facebook page. “Don’t just think outside the box, know that there is no box. I’m looking forward to rocking the stage with my Bro Ski and to all the fans—stank you smelly much, this is for y’all!”

The two have not released an album since 2006′s Idlewild, which served as the soundtrack to their film of the same name, and have not appeared on an official track as OutKast since 2007′s “International Player’s Anthem” with UGK.

“And imagine, all we wanted to do was rap!” said André in the statement. “I am thankful to have been a part of a group that allowed me to explore anything that came to mind and have fun doing it. Returning to the stage together is the most exciting way for us to thank everyone for their 20 years of supporting Outkast.”

Dates have not yet been announced.
