Jay Z Headlines DirecTV’s Super Bowl Party

This year, DirecTV's Saturday Night celebration during Super Bowl weekend (Feb. 1), enlists the talents of Brooklyn's own, Jay Z. Previous headliners for the exclusive invite-only include the likes of Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Usher.

The event will take place at DirecTV’s SuperFan Stadium at New York’s Hudson River Park Pier 40, and is said to be co-hosted by Mark Cuban’s AXS TV and Eli Manning. Sources tell Billboard that Mrs. Carter is expected to join her hubby on stage for at least one tune.

The Jay Z booking joins a crowded night of celebrity-studded parties, including Drake's headlining at Revolt TV’s party at the Time Warner Cable Studios in the Meatpacking District and Kendrick Lamar’s concert for Maxim’s yearly extravaganza at Espace in midtown.
