It was a crazy night in NYC last night (Jan. 28). Dom Kennedy's Get Home Safely Tour with Skeme invaded New York City at Irving Plaza in Union Square and brought the West Coast with him. In a packed house, Dom K did not disappoint. He rattled off hits from his new album Get Home Safely like "Dominic," "South Central Love," "If It Don't Make Money," "Pleeze," and "Honey Buns." Then, the OPM head honcho perform his classic bangers and singles like “1997,” “My Type Of Party," "Gold Alpinas" "We Ball" and "Platinum Chanel." Just when you thought the night couldn't get better, Kendrick Lamar comes storming out on the stage to perform "M.A.A.d City" turning Irving Plaza upside. The West Coast duo then bid their fans farewell and Dom asked everyone to get home safely.

Patrick Castelo, Booking Director at Irving Plaza gave his thoughts:

"Last night was a highlight in my career. I was thrilled to bring Dom Kennedy and Skeme to NYC and incredibly honored to have his good friends Kendrick Lamar and Smoke DZA as surprises guests. Get Home Safely is one of the best albums that came out last year and I wanted to make sure the New York crowd had a chance to experience it live."
