Trill Entertainment rapper Lil Phat was shot dead outside of Northside Hospital in Sandy Springs, Georgia last year on June 7th. Lil Phat, real name Melvin Vernell III, was only 19. There we’re five men who were charged with Phat’s 2012 murder and faced six counts of participation in criminal gang activity, murder, felony murder, aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. They were rapper Gary “Eldorado Red” Bradford, Division II college basketball star Decensea Xavier White, alleged Russian mobster Mani Chulpayev, Maurice DeWayne Conner and DeAndre Washington.
In a article on TMZ, we see Andi Dorfman—Assistant District Attorney in the Fulton County DA’s Office—arguing the case.
