R. Kelly was part of SiriusXM’s “Artist Confidential” series to promote his upcoming album, Black Panties, which is available in stores now.

During his recent visit, Kells performed his classic and recent songs in front of a live audience. Afterwards, he conducted an interview where he spoke about working with the legendary Michael Jackson on “You Are Not Alone.” As the story goes, the King of R&B channeled MJ’s mannerisms to get familiar with his style so he could write the record. "Not trashing Mike, but I would have to act real feminine-like because Michael has a feminine thing going on, but I know he's not like that," he said. "At the same time I had to jump into that to do it. I felt funny at first, but I had to accept it if I wanted to write a song strictly for Michael."
