Kevin Gates Arrested For Probation Violations

XXL has learned from multiple sources today that Baton Rouge rapper Kevin Gates was allegedly picked up and arrested on a probation violation charge in Louisiana last night. Sources tell us that Gates was arrested for traveling without the permission from a Louisiana judge in violation of previous offenses on his record. A source close to the rapper would describe the nature of  his probation violation as "not serious" but that his recent travels to cities such as New York City, Chicago and Atlanta precipitated the arrest. Gates had recently gone on tour in October and had completed a press run in New York City a few weeks back.
