Kendrick Lamar made a typhoon's-worth of waves this year in hip-hop, picking up awards seemingly everywhere he turned, and Songkick has added another to the list.

In the service's breakdown of the Hardest Working Bands of 2013, they listed Kendrick Lamar as the No. 1 rapper, and second overall (behind Local Natives), with 171 total performances over a distance of a staggering 229,583 miles, itself second behind English rockers Alt-J. Also making the list from the hip-hop world was Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, with 138 shows over 199,281 miles.

For comparison's sake, the Earth is 24,901 miles around at its widest, and the Moon is 238,900 miles away. Whew. KDot almost rapped his way to the Moon this year.
