Best ‘SNL’ Digital Shorts With Rappers

Wale has been showing his humorous side this week.  After his phone call with Complex magazine was published where he talks about his frustration with their Top 50 Albums of 2013 list, he posted a video via Instagram poking fun at the situation.

Wale makes a surprise appearance in one of this week SNL digital shorts about the trials and tribulations of shopping at H&M.  While John Goodman’s character is trying to shop on a budget, he says that everything does have a cost, including discounted fashion.  With Jay Pharaoh talking about the long lines, small sizes, and bright colors of the European import, Wale spits a verse.  He takes notes on the tight fit on their clothing, stating “Okay, I’ll give ya a mirror and some info / You’ll never get in girls’ pants wearing girls’ denim.”

SNL Digital Short have been fantastic since it began back in 2005, pioneered by Adam McKay. It’s usually comedic musical video shorts produced and written by The Lonely Island (Jorma Taccone, Akiva Schaffer and Andy Samberg) in collaboration with SNL hosts, writers, and cast members. XXL complied a list of 5 shorts with rappers that you would find entertaining.
