Jeryl Grant—a.k.a. Killa Sin, member of Wu-Tang affiliated group Killarmy—was arrested last week on charges of second-degree attempted murder and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon. According to the Staten Island Advance, Grant allegedly shot a man in a confrontation near the Sangita Shala night club in Staten Island at around 4 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 16.

Grant gave an account of the incident to the police after he was arrested last Wednesday, telling officers that he parked his truck by the club and attended a birthday party in Stapleton that night, then got a ride back to his truck later in the evening. According to Grant, when he got back to his truck there was a group waiting for him and after an exchange of words a shooting occurred. Darnell Brown, 33, was injured, but not killed during the incident.

This is not Grant's first run-in with the law. At the time of his arrest he was on parole after serving a four-year sentence for a 2007 attempted weapon possession conviction. He also served a three year sentence for a 2003 weapon possession conviction.

Killa Sin has often been considered one of the most talented members of the many Wu-Tang affiliated groups. Most recently, he was featured on "Revenge Is Sweet" and "Murder Spree" off GhostFace Killah's Twelve Reasons To Die. He also had a track called "The Archer" on the Man With The Iron Fists soundtrack.
