Lil Kim Approves Of Miley Cyrus’ Costume

Pop singer Miley Cyrus turned heads yesterday after an Instagram photo of her dressing up as Lil' Kim circa 1999 MTV Music Awards circulated the internet.

After seeing the Miley's tribute costume popping for herself, the Queen Bee offered her approval of Cyrus' costume in an interview with MTV.

"How awesome was that! Put it this way, she did me very well. I think she looked gorgeous. I love her; she's one of my besties," Kim said. "She's like my bestie-slash-wifey. You know what's so funny? As soon as she tweeted the picture, she texted me and was like she was like, 'Happy Halloween, babe!' ... I think she did me well."

Cyrus' costume paid tribute to Kim's well-known get-up from the 1999 MTV Music Awards where Kim famously wore a sleek purple catsuit and a matching wig that left her left breast exposed save for strategically-placed pasty.

"The purple pasty with the purple hair is something that kids love, women love and men love and people all over the world loved," Kim said of the night's outfit. "When people give you that compliment on Halloween, it's huge."
