Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page Remixes Biggie

One great remixes another.

Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin frontman and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, has seemingly made a remix to the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize.” The remix, titled “Ramblize,” is built on a guitar loop sampled from Zeppelin’s “Ramble On” and an old-school breakbeat and has been posted to Page’s website.  The song is random for a number of reasons — who knew Page even did remixes? — but don’t forget that Page and Diddy worked together in 1998 on the song “Come With Me,” off the Godzilla soundtrack.

You can hear the song at Page’s website or on his Soundcloud.

There are no words to describe how epic this is.. Zepplin was one of the first bands that I became a fan of when I first started digging into rock music.. that was around 2008. Hip Hop was pissing me off with the ringtone rap & I wanted some new sounds to discover. I credit Zepplin for opening my mind up to all kinds of music. Page remixing a Biggie song brings it all full circle for me.
