Kanye West Pleads Not Guilty In Battery Case
Kanye West has pleaded not guilty today to his misdemeanor battery and attempted grand theft in a case filed over a heated incident that occurred at LAX between Kanye and a paparazzo.
Acting on the rapper's behalf, attorney Blair Blerk entered a plea of not guilty in a Los Angeles court this morning. As previously reported, West is charged with two misdemeanors in September stemming from a altercation in July where Kanye allegedly assault photographer Daniel Ramos outside of Los Angeles International Airport.
If Kanye is convicted of both charges, he could potentially face up to 1 year in prison and be subject to thousands of dollars in fines.
West case is scheduled to return to court on January 23 of next year.
