Today marks the 10th anniversary of Jay Z's landmark The Black Album. Revolt TV talked with one of the chief architects, Roc-A-Fella producer Just Blaze, who produced three tracks on the album including the album's opening track "Interlude."

"I wanted it to feel like spacey like you are about to be on the verge of something different. I didn't want the intro to be super loud and boisterous. I wanted it to be something that you could zone out, too," Blaze said of the album's opener.

You can watch full video of Blaze's short interview with Revolt in the clip above.
