Fans who missed the opportunity to see Ron Howard's Jay Z concert documentary, Made In America, when it aired on Showtime will be given a chance to see it on the big screen.

Phase 4 Films has acquired the North American rights to Made In America, which aired on Showtime back on October 11. The company plans to release the film into theaters for Summer 2014.

The documentary follows Jay Z as he plans his massive two-day music festival featuring many of music's most popular stars, including Drake, Pearl Jam, Run-DMC, The Hive, Passion Pit and Skrillex. The film initially premiered at the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival in September and was produced and directed by Ron Howard for his Imagine Entertainment film company.

The deal was reportedly brokered by Creative Artists Agency on behalf of the filmmakers.
