Today, Nov. 15, marks the 30th birthday of Atlanta rapper B.o.B! After appearing on the XXL Freshman cover in 2009, Bobby Ray has been one of hip-hop's most successful rappers over the last couple years, scoring a Billboard No. 1 album in 2010 for his debut LP, B.o.B Presents: The Adventures of Bobby Ray. B.o.B. proved his lightning could strike twice when his sophomore album, 2012's Strange Clouds debuted at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and spawned two platinum-selling singles.

Though he's been supplying fans with a steady stream of music these past few years, it's been his comments on Twitter that he's staring to get more famous for. In January 2016, B.o.B. alleged that the world we live in is actually flat, not a three-dimensional globe. Astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson responded to Bobby Ray and the two got into a small disagreement over it.

In 2017, B.o.B continues to question certain conspiracy theories whilst keeping his fans satisfied with solo projects, like May's Ether album. Most recently the rapper was featured on Hustle Gang's first-ever compilation album, We Want Smoke, and hosted his third annual BoBWOOD FEST in Atlanta, Ga.

In 2018, B.o.B dropped off Naga, which is an album he's said will be his last. Let's hope he was kidding.

XXL hopes B.o.B. has a safe and fun born day this year. Happy Birthday, B.o.B!
