Eminem On The Concept Behind “Bad Guy”

When Eminem chose to name his latest album The Marshall Mathers LP 2, he knew the amount of comparison between this album and his third studio album The Marshall Mathers LP would be immense. Many consider his original 2000 album  a classic. Em chops it up with Sway for MTV News, discussing the background behind “Bad Guy.” “Making the ‘Bad Guy’ record, I felt like I wanted to make sure that I make something that ties in with The Marshall Mathers LP” says Eminem. “I wanted to make it make sense, that if I’m going to go down this road, this could be…be ready for what is about to happen.” Slim goes deep into the concept of why he made the track, you can watch the video above.
