Eminem Loves Cupcakes

Eminem has a long history of uncomfortable moments on television. With his latest opus The Marshall Mathers LP 2 dropping on November 5, it looks like the rap god will be adding some new chapters to that legacy of awkwardness. This weekend he'll be the musical guest on SNL and the new promotional clips for the episode find the him bringing that classic deadpan energy.

Standing next to the show's host, Scandal actress Kerry Washington, and SNL cast member Nasim Pedrad, Em looks a little dazed in the short commercials. Of course, that's part of the joke at this point. Each ad finds Washington and Pedrad trying to crack the stoic wall of silence that is Eminem.

He does break at one point, revealing his love for a very specific baked good. "It's gonna be a great show," says Washington in the clip. "And afterwards we're going out for cupcakes. His idea."

Eminem then turns his head very slowly and stares at Washington like a frightened child. "I love cupckaes," he says. So there you go: Eminem loves cupcakes.
