It hasn't been long since its release, but Drake's Nothing Was The Same has gone platinum, according to Hitsdailydouble.com

The album, which was released in September and is the Toronto MC's third release on Young Money, has sold approximately 38,274 units this week, pushing it over the one-million mark. NWTS is only the second hip-hop album to go platinum this year so far, with Jay Z's Magna Carta Holy Grail doing it before it was even released thanks to a lucrative deal with Samsung.
