Comedian-turned-rapper Childish Gambino stopped by Peter Rosenberg and Cipha Sound's Juan Epstein podcast to promote his new album, Because The Internet, which is expected to drop December 10.

During the hour-long conversation, Gambino touched on a variety of topics, including the loss of his virginity in college. Of the experience, he said it was "awkward" and, because he was raised as Jehovah's Witness, he thought he "was going to hell" and was going "to get AIDS immediately" as a result.

Gambino also revealed some details about the creative process behind Because The Internet, including the fact that he would sometimes record it on tape cassette or "something that would sound shitty" to make sure it sounded right on all mediums. He also said it will "not be a rap album" and that he wants to make pop, but more in the vein of "Hall and Oats pop" than Katy Perry.
