After serving a little more than six months for a probation violation, Young Scooter was released from prison Wednesday (October 23). Back in August, Scooter put out From The Cell Block To Your Block while he was still in jail. The tape was hosted by DJ Swamp Izzo and featured guest appearances from YG, Future, Wale, Gucci Mane and many more. As Scooter told XXL the day after his release, fans can expect more music coming in the near future.

Street Lottery 2 will drop January 1, 2014. The first single off the mixtape, which features Cam’ron, will be released next week. "It's really almost finished," Scooter said. "I just want to have it like the first Street Lottery—it was a classic. So every time I do it, it got to be a classic, so I don’t want to make no mistakes or move too fast with it."

Street Lottery 2 will have appearances by Wyclef Jean, Birdman, Future, Gucci Mane and many others.

So why the January 1st date? "I just want to bring the New Year in with something I want and what I feel that the world needs to hear, and I know that this is going to be big," Scooter said. "I want to teach people to get money. All I rap about is money, and if you want some money, you listen to me, then you understand."
