Twitter Reacts To Kanye West On ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’
Starting with a stiff hug and ending with a tense handshake, Wednesday night's (October 9) Jimmy Kimmel Live! with Kanye West was all sorts of awkward. While Kimmel issued a roundabout mea culpa, Kanye called himself a "creative genius," made the case for Kim Kardashian getting a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and vented some more about the paparazzi's invasion of celebrities' private lives. Much of it felt like part two of the Radio 1 interview with Zane Lowe and Kanye that started the whole mess, complete with talk of leather jogging pants.
Kanye didn't quite apologize during the show, but he did attempt to explain his recent public Twitter thrashing of Kimmel by saying, "All I care about is my family, I care about protecting my girl, protecting my baby and protecting my ideas and my dreams, and that's the reason why I went so crazy."
Now that Kimmel is no longer threatening Kanye's ideas and dreams, it seems that the two can go back to only running into each other occasionally at weddings and put this fiasco behind them.
