This week, the world finally saw Kendrick Lamar body his cypher in this year’s BET Hip-Hop Awards. Don’t get it twisted – every MC that was hand selected did their thing. But, it was Kendrick who showed confidence and poise that was almost frightening. Sounding like he had to get some things off his chest, TDE’s poster child addressed Drake/Papoose, the state of his competition and even proclaimed himself “King Kendrick” again. Hopefully, his verse reinvigorated MCs to battle back .

4. Iggy Azalea Pulls Out Of Australia Shows
Iggy Azalea has pulled out of three Sydney shows that was on Beyonce’s “The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour” which starts October 16 in Melbourne. Iggy was slated to perform in four shows in Sydney as the opener for Beyonce. She will be replaced by Kiwi singer Stan Walker on October 31, November 1 and November 2, but will perform at Allphones Arena on November 3.

5. Master P’s Wife Files For Divorce
Sonya Miller, the wife of Master P, recently filed for divorce from the rap mogul, reports TMZ. According to documents obtained by the site, Sonya is siting “irreconcilable differences” as the culprit for the split and is seeking to dead their 24-year marriage. She is also seeking custody of their four young children as well as spousal support.

6. Drake Is Shooting “Worst Behaviour” Video In Memphis
Earlier this week, word got out that Drake was in Atlanta and Memphis shooting his video for “Worst Behaviour.” Pictures started to appear on Instagram and Twitter that show Drizzy hanging out with his fans. They also revealed Turk of the Hot Boyz will be making a cameo, as well as Director X who will be behind the lens.

8. Q-Tip Hints A Tribe Called Quest Will Play Their Last Shows On Kanye Tour
Kanye West’s forthcoming “Yeezus” Tour with Kendrick Lamar added two opening acts a few days ago: Pusha T and A Tribe Called Quest. According to Q-Tip, the group will play their last shows in New York City.
