As expected, Miley Cyrus holds the No. 1 spot with her new album Bangerz, selling 270,000 copies in its first week. In the world of hip-hop, though, Pusha T comes through with a big opening week with My Name Is My Name, moving 75,000 copies. And to top it off, Danny Brown’s Fool’s Gold debut charts in the Top 20. Despite a strong promotional push for Brown’s Old, the album barely cracked the Top 20 with 20,000 copies. A few spots up are Justin Timberlake and Lorde, who hold the No. 5 and No. 6 spots respectively. One more notable album is Drake’s Nothing Was The Same, which is steadily on course to go Platinum in the near future.
