A song erupts at the club, and you lose your fucking mind. You hear Miley Cyrus’ voice and then you feel instantly ashamed. The basslines, the pop-friendly hums, the slight air of synths. You’re confused, but then you hear a whisper along the soundscape that says, “Mike WiLL Made-It…”

It wasn’t all too long ago before Mike WiLL catapulted onto the scene with a whole new batch of beats for everyone from pop tarts to rap revolutionaries. He's been a welcome presence on the radio, providing a fresh take on club-ready music. Sure he’s been at it for years, but since 2011, it’s felt like he’s really been at it. Here is a list of our favorite Mike WiLL Made It beats to date. Check the melody below. --KI

“Tupac Back” Meek Mill Featuring Rick Ross
Let’s ignore the audacity of the title (and the entire song altogether) and focus on the threatening beat that could probably resurrect Pac with its strength. Let’s play it a few more times and see if he does come back to tell these dudes, “Um, you’re not me.”

“Mercy” Kanye West, Big Sean, Pusha T & 2 Chainz
The chopped and screwed ad libs coughing up “Lamborghini Mercy…your chick she’s so thirsty.” The Super Beagle “Dust A Soundboy” sample. Need we say more. This beat will have you shouting “Have mercy!” like Uncle Jesse on Full House.

“No Lie” 2 Chainz Featuring Drake
A simple synth beat with a complex message. Okay not really, but 2 Chainz and Drake’s pledge of honesty was only enhanced by Mike WiLL’s hypnotic beat that flowed like truth serum.

“Bandz A Make Her Dance” Juicy J Featuring Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz
Juicy J’s career got a hefty resuscitation thanks to this lil’ beat right here. As the song starts as calm, it absolutely explodes into an all out stripper anthem. That’s just how Mike WiLL does it. He’ll have anyone jumping on the pole.

“Pour It Up” Rihanna
It’s not hard to make RiRi sound like a gangsta given the right kind of beat, but Mike WiLL gave her the extra umph with this one. Rihanna’s repetitive “Pour it up, pour it up” ricochets off the beat like she’s firing off a gun at the club. Or flinging empty bottles.

“Bugatti” Ace Hood Featuring Future & Rick Ross
After Ace Hood’s “Hustle Hard” time was over, the fate of his career rested on another gigantic banger. Mike WiLL was up for the challenge when he delivered “Bugatti.” The song roars like the overpriced vehicle and makes anyone want to buy – errr rent – one.

“We Can’t Stop” Miley Cyrus
Oh you don’t like this song? Well you’re fuckin’ lying. It doesn’t matter if Miley is dating Mike WiLL or his weed carrier, she got the best thing out of the relationship and it was this song right here.

“23” Mike WiLL Made-It Featuring Miley Cyrus, Wiz Khalifa & Juicy J
Speaking of Miley Cyrus…Mike WiLL’s got her rapping in these streets in the name of Jordan’s lucky number. Nevermind the fact that the beat is the perfect blend of Hip-Poppiness that the radio waits for, and so do you.

“Beach Is Better” Jay Z
It wasn’t a lot, but it was damn sure enough. Mike WiLL’s momentary madness on Magna Carta Holy Grail was the accessory that made the outfit. Now, can we just get these guys forreal in the studio to make a full album? Why not right?

“Boats N Hoes” Starlito & Don Trip
When Starlito and Don Trip collaborated on the critically acclaimed Stepbrothers project, who knew they’d recreate a hilarious film-inspired moment and make it huge. Mike WiLL provided the backdrop, of course.

“Trap Boomin” Gucci Mane Featuring Rick Ross
Mike WiLL scatters synths across this track and punctuates it with some thorough bass. That’s enough to make you forget Gucci Mane’s on it, which is a good day depending upon who you are.

“No Tomorrow” Chief Keef
Only Mike WiLL could conjure up the gumption to hand a European club beat over to Keef and be like “Here, rock over this.” The results are somewhat positive, so there’s that.

“Love Me” Lil Wayne Featuring Drake & Future
The whistling beat on “Love Me” sounds romantic in a weird way. Why wouldn’t it, with the song being about getting the ladies? Mike WiLL knows how to convey even the simplest emotions through beats, which is hard to do.

“Body Party” Ciara
Most men (and some women) want to throw a body party with Ciara as it is, so here comes Mike WiLL with the soundtrack for the celebration. Throw some confetti to this track. Or condom wrappers.

“Show Out” Juicy J Featuring Young Jeezy & Big Sean
When you title a song with “Show Out,” that’s exactly what you need to do, so Mike WiLL brought out the big guns. The result was yet another track in Juicy J’s new arsenal that would solidify his return.

“Kisses Down Low” Kelly Rowland
You know what this song is about, and you know what this beat is about. Let’s not go any further before this list gets marked as NSFW.

“Turn On The Lights” Future
Mike WiLL used Future’s Auto-Tuned bars to his advantage on this one and mixed it with an equally synth-heavy beat. The result was perhaps the greatest example of when robotic voices and robotic noises come together on a track.

“We Still In This Bitch” B.o.B. Featuring T.I. & Juicy J
The sneaky beat on B.o.B.’s single helps accentuate his battle cry that he and his compadres are still here to rock. Without that slick soundscape though, who knows if the message would’ve come across as strong?

“Way Too Gone” Jeezy Featuring Future
If you’ve seen the fan-accented video for Jeezy’s “Way Too Gone,” you’ll realize how well Mike WiLL’s beat fit snugly within the crux of the track and its visuals. It’s hyper and it’s awesome.

“My Hatin Joint” ScHoolboy Q
If there’s a word to describe this song as it exists within Mike WiLL’s catalog, it’s diversity. Mike WiLL subdued his extra signature style just enough to provide the Black Hippy with a mainstream feel while still keeping it real. Well done.

“Bitches And Bottles (Let’s Get It Started)” DJ Khaled Featuring Lil Wayne, Future & T.I.
It comes as no surprise that Mike WiLL Made-It’s beats are designed for turnt up times. This track is proof of that, as the beats rolls through with Future’s nasty vocals and DJ Khaled doing…whatever DJ Khaled does.

“Cases” Yo Gotti Featuring 2 Chainz
With an intimidating beat like this one, Yo Gotti and 2 Chainz toss around some bars and Yo Gotti gets himself a hit of “Mortal Kombat” proportions. Thank the maker.

“King Of Diamonds” Rick Ross
Rick Ross claims to be the king of many things, but it’s clear that Mike WiLL is the undefeated king of making tailor made beats for the artists he’s working with. This song screams Rozay. No literally, Rick Ross screams “Rozay” all over it.

“I’m On Fire” Ludacris Featuring Big K.R.I.T.
Once again exercising his right to versatility, Mike WiLL delivers a smooth ass track for Luda and K.R.I.T. to coast on. From Atlanta to Mississippi and everywhere in between, this isn’t just a song it’s a vacation.

“Ain’t No Way Around It” DJ Drama Featuring Future
Stadium sound? Check. Auto-Tuney hook? Check. Pop-friendly with a touch of violence? Check. Okay, so where are Flo Rida and Pitbull when you finally need them?
