Hip-hop is helping to set more records, this time on television. MTV2 enjoyed its highest-ever ratings for the past year based off the strength of shows such as Mac Miller And The Most Dope FamilyGuy Code and Nick Cannon Presents: Wild 'N Out, the latter which was just picked up for a second season.

Mac's show has just begun filming its second season, while he himself is kicking off a European tour with Lil Wayne tomorrow (October 9). Wild 'N Out, meanwhile, was the highest-rated show ever on MTV2, bringing in a total of 1.1 million viewers on average and helping the network to record ratings in the October 2012-September 2013 fiscal year, as well as its best-ever quarter over the past three months.

The network also announced a new show which will begin later this year called Guy Court, a courtroom-based comedy series made up of select cast members from Guy Code and Girl Code, including Charlemagne Tha God. The show premieres November 6 at 11 p.m.
