During his headline-making interview with Jimmy Kimmel two weeks ago, Kanye West touched on the growing problem of gang violence in his hometown of Chicago. Fellow Chi-Town rapper Common was approached by TMZ on the street  in New York City this week where he was asked about Kanye's comments. Common echoed similar feelings about violence as Kanye did.

"You see what's going on with the young people right now, there's a lot of death and violence going on in Chicago." Common told TMZ. "Wer're not happy about that. We're not proud about that  but we're gonna make change."
