Reports are now claiming that Chris Brown did not actually initiate the fight which led to his arrest on felony assault charges in Washington D.C. over the weekend. According to TMZ, the initial police report states that the singer did not throw the first punch in the altercation, a fact that could end up working in Chris' favor.

The original draft which has since been adjusted cites that Chris Brown's bodyguard threw the punch that allegedly broke the victim's nose. The report states that Chris jumped in afterward in efforts to even out the outnumbered squabble.

TMZ also added that each of those involved were video taped describing that night's events. However, law enforcement sources believe that some of those taped may be shading the truth, which could too be a plus for the singer's case.
