Ryan Leslie learned the hard way that one should not make promises not intended to be kept. After the singer has had fair warning yet still has not paid the 1 million dollar reward promised following the safe return of his laptop, New York City marshals have taken matters into their own hands seizing Leslie's 2010 Cadillac Escalade.

A year ago Ryan Leslie was ordered to court as a result of failing to pay Armin Augustein, the man who recovered his stolen laptop overseas in hopes of obtaining the 1 million dollar reward. Citing that he did not pay because the music which influenced the high payment was no longer on the computer, the singer-songerwriter plead but the court ruled in favor of Augustein ordering Ryan to pay up.

With only 5,000 paid a year later, NYPost.com reports that the 2010 Cadillac Escalade will go up for auction today, Monday (September 9).
