The October 8, release date for Pusha T’s solo debut My Name Is My Name is “set in stone” according to the Virginia MC. Now it’s on to the next one. Push recently chopped it up Fuse during the Rock The Bells festival over the weekend and revealed that he has already begun working on his second solo LP. “I been pulling beats for another album. It is entitled King Push,” he said. “I gotta start early cause beats are very hard to come by. Who knows if I will be blessed enough to get Kanye West to take my project by the reigns this time? So, I’m starting early. I’m taking beats from everybody.”

The Clipse member recently set Twitter a buzz with a single tweet which many thought was directed at Lil Wayne following the release of his latest mixtape, Dedication 5. Weezy’s artist Jae Millz even stepped up to defend his boss over the perceived jab. Push contends that the tweet (which read: I think it’s safe to say, you really lost it.) wasn’t a shot, but said if the shoe fits wear it. “I didn’t send no shot. I just said what I said on Twitter. What’s the problem,” Push questioned. “If I say a blanket statement like such, what give yall the right to just pin it on a man? Unless you think the shit is horrible. I aint into explaining my tweets. I aint for all that. I just say what I say,” he jokingly added.
