Last night, New York’s industry tastemakers were out in support of Pusha T’s Def Jam debut, My Name Is My Name, scheduled to release on October 8.

Taking place at the Industria Superstudio, we were all corralled into an open space to wait patiently for Pusha to press play on the album. A few hours into his listening, the lights went out and P appeared out of nowhere during the introduction that exclaims King Push is finally here. As he goes deeper into its selected tracks, Kanye pops up (which silenced the rumors), stands next to Push, and readies the microphone as the song ends. Above is footage, captured by Miss Info, of one of ‘Ye craziest rants in recent history showing love to Pusha.

Although Kanye says he was “twisted off that Goose right now,” the fact he went extra hard to big up his artist was respectable.

Clipse album and shit. Act like y’all ain’t base y’all whole shit, whole lifestyle off this nigga Pusha T. Everything is Pusha T. Pyrex Vision, that’s Pusha T. Fear of God, that’s Pusha T. This nigga the heart of the muthafucking culture for you culture vultures.
