Drake Passes Out Copies Of FIFA ’14 In NYC
As well as promoting his new album Nothing Was The Same, which dropped Tuesday (September 24), Drizzy reportedly inked a six-figure deal with EA Sports to push the new FIFA ’14 which hit shelves the same day. Champagne Papi recently touched down in NYC to make his rounds promoting the game, passing out copies to fans at every stop.
As recently reported, industry insiders have Drake’s Nothing Was The Same pushing in the area of 700,000 units in its first seven days out. Short of the rapper’s optimistic prediction of one million on the “Versace (Remix),” but an impressive haul all the same. Speaking of impressive hauls, the OVO rapper clocked in at number 11 on Forbes’ most recent list of Hip-Hop’s Cash Kings bringing in $10.5 million in the last 12 months.
