Things are looking a bit shaky for the new Aaliyah album said to be produced by Drake and frequent collaborator, Noah "40" Shebib. Announcing the project earlier this year, with news that he had been tapped to produce the effort, even receiving approval from the singer's family, Drake now comes forth only wishing the LP's contributors the best.

“I don’t know. I think the press got out of hand and they maybe had a different vision for it or something,” Drake said in regards to the album. “It was sounding great to me. Whatever they end up doing with it, I wish them the best of luck.”

Adding,“There might be a record on there with me and her, I’m not sure. It was great. It sounded really good.” It seems like the disapproval of Aaliyah's close pals, Missy Elliot and Timbaland did end halting the rapper's plans.

With that said, it's quite questionable if Drizzy will any involvement on the LP.
