With only two mixtapes under his belt, Chance The Rapper has garnered acclaim that some rappers with catalogs would kill for, including being tapped by Lil Wayne to appear on Dedication 5, having his mixtape, Acid Rap land on Billboard charts and getting his own North American tour. He can now add a BET Hip-Hop Awards nomination for "Best Mixtape" to his list of recent accomplishments. The 20-year-old rapper recently chopped it up with R&R Productions and recounted the moment he found out the good news. "I was in motherf#cking Paris, France. I just played Stade de France for 90,000 people," he said. "In the car, we saw a couple of tweets and a couple of posts about it, but we couldn't find a link to where the actual nominees were listed."

The Chicago MC said a short time later he verified the unexpected feat. "Then we got to the restaurant and motherf#ckers we like, yeah, it's right here, you got a BET nomination." 2013 has been a life changing one for the young rapper. Earlier this month, Chance announced he will be headlining the Social Experiment tour which will hit up 29 spots throughout North America.
